One billion women are expected to enter the labour market in the course of the next decade according to a study by Booz & Co.
Despite this, the result of the study shows that many countries are still underestimating the importance of this workforce. The lack of support systems to help women in their careers or even just policies to remove social, cultural and professional constraints for women have still not been implemented.
Booz & Co’s study comes to the conclusion that key decision makers worldwide should invest in developing women’s skills and knowledge in order to fully take advantage of their huge potential.
