Gabby Logan, English TV and radio presenter, has spoken up about the female presenters on Sky Sports. She says that they are there to provide ‘window dressing’ next to their male colleagues.

In an interview given to Radio Times, she points out that: ‘It’s fine if they’re given a career path, but there have never been any big breakthrough women on Sky. We all have to go to other places.’ Logan left Sky Sports in 1998 to join ITV and in 2007 moved to BBC, where she has presented major football, rugby and athletics events, amongst others, she has presented the London Olympics opening ceremony.

Sky Sports had already been caught up in a controversy  in 2011 following the firing of its main presenters Richard Keys and Andy Gray who were caught making misogynist comments off camera.
